Anybody in the vfx/mograph/modeling/etc. department knows that any help they can get to knock down software prices is much appreciated, especially these days when a single software license can run you around 1,000 dollars or more. That’s where Too Good To Be True Thursday comes in. I’m scouring the web trying to find great deals on software and hardware to save you (and me) our hard earned money.

Today’s software pick is Cinema 4D R11.5 created by Maxon. For those that don’t know, C4D is a 3D computer graphics application similar to Maya or 3D Max, but is a favorite among the vfx/mograph crowd for it’s easy integration with other applications such as After Effects.
