Here we have two different tutorials on the same website that allow us to do the same thing but in very different ways. Both of these tutorials allow you to create waveforms and both require Adobe After Effects to work in, but the first tutorial by Satya Meka doesn’t require any use of an additional plugin in order to get the results. It’s a fascinating tutorial that shows you what a designer can do without a plugin.

The next tutorial by Robert Iagar also plays with waveforms in Adobe After Effects, but this tutorial will require the Trapcode Form plugin in order to complete it. It is also a great tutorial and will show you what can be done with a simple plugin such as Trapcode Form and why you might want to purchase it for future projects.
